Meet The Artist

Donarae Dawson is a local artist whose roots trace back to Vermont, where she was born and raised. Currently, she divides her time between Shelburne,     Vermont, and Venice, Florida. Her artistic journey  marked by a transition from a long career in special education to a full-time commitment to painting, which she embraced upon her retirement. This shift not only reflects her passion for art but also her desire to express herself through a medium that resonates with her environment and surroundings 

Donarae's artwork is characterized by an open expressionistic style, allowing her to convey emotions and themes related to nature and human experience.
